What an Authorised Person actually is

A stock broker is registered with SEBI and is a member of the exchanges. An Authorised Person is appointed by that broker to act on its behalf — to reach investors, help them open accounts, and support them in using the broker’s services.

The distinction is not cosmetic. Your account is held with Angel One Limited. Your money and your securities sit with the broker and the depository, not with us. What we provide is access, help and continuity — a local point of contact who knows your file.

It also means our activities are limited to what is permitted for an Authorised Person under the applicable framework, which is why the list below is as important as anything else on this page.

How we work

Most of what we do happens after an account is opened, not before it. Opening an account takes half an hour. Knowing what to do when a mandate fails, a charge looks unfamiliar, or a product is being pushed at you from somewhere else — that is the part that takes years, and it is the part we are for.

We work in person and by phone, in Indore. There is a number on every page of this site, and a person answers it during business hours.

What we will not do

We do not give buy or sell recommendations

We are an Authorised Person, not a research analyst or an investment adviser. Those are separate registrations with separate obligations, and we do not hold them.

We do not guarantee or assure returns

Nobody honestly can. Anyone in this market who does is telling you something they do not know.

We do not trade on your behalf

Your account is yours. We will not ask for your login, and you should never give it to anyone — including someone claiming to be from us.

We do not run tips groups

Not on WhatsApp, not anywhere. If you receive a message claiming to be from us with a stock call in it, it is not from us.

If a complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you are entitled to escalate it beyond us. The escalation route is set out here, up to SEBI and the securities market ODR portal.
